would you describe in one sentence the current
fundamentals of MZI
?
MS:
A fast growing, young dynamic group straddling
the entire IT space. A unique organization dealing
in products, Systems Integration (SI) services,
Facilities Management (FM) services and professional
services.
What
were the milestones/achievements of the last calendar
year?
MS:
- Entry
into healthcare outsourcing with a strategic
investment into that area.
- Picked
up a large shared services outsourcing contract
from a US company.
- Strategic
investment from a US based partner and set up
of full fledged US marketing offices in Florida
and New Jersey.

Signed a joint venture with the Punjab government
for a Private Public Partnership (PPP) project.
- Professional
services (software) have developed into a full
fledged profitable business entity.

Gotocustomer Services Pvt Ltd (GTC) picked up
some prestigious manpower outsourcing contracts
and grew to an average of Rs. 20 million per
month.
What
sort of growth/opportunities do you see in the
year 2005?
MS:
- The
traditional business of hardware sales has been
augmented with the addition of top class managers
with a special focus on growing the services
business.
- The
shared services contract sourced shall get into
operations this year and shall start scaling
to a 100 seat operation.

The US offices will start operating and business
should start flowing in
In
short, I expect the company to grow from Rs. 600
million per year to Rs. 800 million with the additional
growth being in services.
