PROCESS
At the start of the review period, the supervisor
and employee meet to:
- Review job description.
- Identify skills and performance attributes
that are critical for the job profile.
- Establish individual performance objectives
for the employee.
During the review period:
- Supervisor & employee communicate formally
and informally as needed.
- Supervisor & employee review the progress
on individual performance objectives.
At the end of the review
period:
- Employee evaluates his/her own job performance
and provides a copy to the supervisor.
- Supervisor gives an overall assessment of
employee's performance.
- Supervisor reviews the appraisal with employee
and then both endorse it.
- Both supervisor and employee retain the copy
of the completed signed instrument.
- Supervisor forwards the completed, signed
form in original to HR for filing and processing.
